Senquip have partnered with Danish company Kjaerulf Pedersen a/s to enable remote vibration monitoring over a low bandwidth connection.
Vibration monitoring and the detection of changes in vibration patterns is a key technique used in equipment health monitoring. Typically, high speed monitoring systems are required, making remote vibration monitoring data hungry and expensive.
The KPV200 vibration sensor measures vibration at up to 1600Hz, performing FFT analysis on the sensor and providing 128 frequency bins that are communicated remotely with a Senquip device.
Senquip have updated device firmware to allow communication with KPV200 and have added a frequency widget to the Senquip Portal.
Applications include equipment health monitoring of ventilation fans, pumps, crushers, conveyors, and mills, and the detection of early signs of wear, misalignment, or imbalance.
Senquip strives to continuously improve the value of our product to our customers by adding functionality at no additional cost.
