Quarterly Update Q2 2025

💥Senquip Vision LIVE💥

The Senquip Portal is a secure, cloud-based platform designed to provide powerful management and visualisation tools for your Senquip devices.

In a major update, Senquip is pleased to announce the introduction of Senquip Vision, a powerful, customisable dashboard that enables businesses to monitor and analyse key operational metrics across groups of devices.

Designed for management, maintenance and operational users, it provides a clear and intuitive interface for tracking real-time data, historical trends, and device status, all in one place.

Key Features of Senquip Vision:

🥇Device Grouping – Simplifies bulk user management and device configuration.

🎯Multiple Views per Group – Tailor dashboards to different team needs, such as management versus maintenance.

👏Customizable Time Periods – Compare current and historical data for trend analysis.

👓Advanced Metrics – Perform in-depth analysis using totals, averages, and trend calculations.

🪄Summary Charts – Visualise key performance indicators at a glance.

🥇Headline Numbers – Display critical operational data across all devices.

🔍Summary Tables – Organise essential device information for quick reference.

🌍Live Map Tracking – Monitor device locations and statuses in real time.

📱Mobile Friendly – Desktop, tablet, and mobile screen optimised.

If you need a hand getting your dashboard looking polished and effective, the Senquip User Guides have been updated with detailed instructions on configuring Groups, Views, Metrics, and more.

QUAD Output Current Limiting

Keep a look out for enhanced current limiting features that will be part of the upcomming SFW006 release for the Senquip QUAD.

Two sensitivity levels are included for 4-20mA systems and applications that power external sensors.

Outputs shutdown in 2msec and are re-enabled with the next device reset.

Modbus TCP over Ethernet

In many industrial applications, Modbus TCP is the protocol of choice for efficient Ethernet-based communication. While Senquip devices natively support Modbus RTU over RS232/RS485, a recent application note shows how to expand functionality using the Senquip QUAD and a cost-effective RS485-to-Ethernet converter.

This approach offers:

Flexible protocol bridging using standard hardware

Support for scalable Ethernet-based monitoring

Compatibility with existing RS485 Modbus devices

It’s a smart, affordable way to integrate legacy serial sensors into modern networked systems.

🌏 Made in Australia for the World🌏

As the Australian financial year ends, we’re proud to share the countries we’ve supplied to in the past 12 months.

Each flag in this collage represents a customer using Senquip for smarter monitoring—and it wouldn’t be possible without the support of our incredible customers and distribution partners.

Thank you 🙏

Interesting Sensors – S120 Digital Imaging Particle Counter

The S120 digital imaging particle counter is a revolutionary sensor capable of counting a broad spectrum of particles, recognising shapes and eliminating air bubbles from the counts.

S120 Digital Imaging Particle Counter

The sensor has the ability to measure a broad spectrum from 4 to >70μm recognising different shapes of particles which can be grouped into fatigue wear, sliding wear and cutting wear as well as fibres.

Oil cleanliness codes: ISO 4406, NAS 1638, & SAE AS4059

Particles are grouped by micron size in six categories – 4, 6, 14, 21, 38, 70μ

Counts air and gas bubbles and eliminates them from the counts

Shape recognition software is able to categorise particulate into sliding, cutting & fatigue wear
