When is a product ready for production?
Getting a product working is one thing. Finding and fixing all the edge cases is another.
We’ve been chasing down the last few milliamps of standby current on our new UNI.
Everything worked perfectly, including the DC/DC converter. Except it was drawing about 1 mA more than we expected.
Not much, unless your device needs to spend weeks asleep on a battery.
Finding out why, and fixing it, takes time. But it’s these small details that make the difference between a working prototype and a production-ready product.
And yes, we found it.
