Remote Pump Control and Monitoring
Reduce site visits. Prevent downtime. Control pumps from anywhere.
Why Remote Pump Monitoring Matters
Remote pump monitoring helps prevent costly failures, reduce unnecessary site visits and improve operational reliability. Whether you’re managing irrigation, mining, dewatering or water transfer, early visibility of problems allows faster decisions and better outcomes.
BENEFITS
Whether you’re managing one pump or hundreds across multiple sites, remote monitoring gives operators the information they need to reduce travel, improve reliability and respond to problems before they become failures.
Reduce Site Visits
View status, fuel level, pressure and alarms remotely before travelling to site.
Prevent Downtime
Receive alerts and resolve problems before they become costly failures.
Reduce Maintenance Costs
Schedule maintenance based on actual operating hours.
Monitor and Control Remotely
Monitor pump status and remotely start or stop equipment from anywhere.
Improve Operational Efficiency
Track flow, pressure, level and water usage to optimise pump performance.
TYPICAL applications
From irrigation to mining, pumping systems have different operational requirements. Senquip provides a common monitoring platform that can be adapted to each application.
Irrigation pump

Monitor water use, automate irrigation, and reduce unnecessary trips to remote pump sites.
Mine dewatering

Prevent flooding by detecting pump faults before water levels rise dangerously.
Diesel fire pump

Monitor pump readiness, log compliance testing, and receive immediate alerts when faults occur.
Water transfer pump

Track flow, pressure and runtime to improve efficiency and keep water moving reliably.
Rental pump

Track location, utilisation and operating hours to reduce losses and simplify fleet management.

WHAT YOU CAN Control
Remote Start/Stop
Auto/Manual Control

Start and stop pumps remotely using outputs, Modbus or CAN. Commands can originate from the Senquip Portal, your SCADA system or your own cloud platform.

If a pump is accidentally left in Manual after servicing, it can be remotely returned to Auto from the Senquip Portal, restoring normal automatic operation without a site visit.

TYPICAL PUMP MONITORING AND CONTROL ARCHITETURE
The diagram below shows a typical pump monitoring and control architecture using a Senquip device. While every installation is unique, most systems consist of a combination of engine interfaces, pump instrumentation, level and flow sensors, digital I/O, and remote communications. Senquip brings these inputs together to provide monitoring, alarms, automation and remote control from a single platform.
